Guelph General Hospital Joins MMC’s Warehousing & Logistics Services

Mohawk Medbuy (MMC) is pleased to share that Guelph General Hospital (GGH) is transitioning to our Warehousing and Logistics services. By centralizing their logistics with MMC, GGH joins other leading Ontario hospitals that benefit from daily deliveries out of our 100,000 square-foot Distribution Centre located in Oakville.  

MMC's Logistics & Warehousing services are designed to streamline processes, ensuring timely access to essential health care supplies. Guelph General Hospital, a 225-bed, acute care facility, previously oversaw a combination of in-hospital and off-site storage for its vital medical supplies. With this transition, they’ll be able to optimize their facility space and workload by leveraging MMC’s just-in-time logistics service for medical / surgical supplies they order from our Oakville Distribution Centre.

As one of the largest health care Distribution Centres in Canada, MMC operates 6 days a week, providing just-in-time distribution of over 6,500 SKUs from more than 300 suppliers. Our Logistics services also include detailed, daily integrated reporting on backorder status, product conversions and potential substitutes on 88% of stocked items to help ensure continuity of care.
